Advanced Process Technologies, Inc. (APT) is seeking an experienced Field Installer to perform on-site installation of systems and equipment at customer locations. The role emphasizes welding of sanitary stainless steel tubing and precise fitting, with intense collaboration alongside seasoned foremen in the food and dairy sector.

The position requires 5+ years in sanitary stainless steel installation, ability to read P&ID drawings, and willingness to travel 100% across the U.S. and North America.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience with sanitary stainless steel tubing installation and welding.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings (P&ID and layout).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent mathematical skills.
• Solid understanding of safety practices in a manufacturing / construction setting.

Responsibilities

• Install Stainless Steel equipment and sanitary tubing.
• Read and interpret P&ID and equipment layout drawings.
• Take measurements to fit pipe and set equipment.
• Set up and adjust welding & purge equipment to perform high quality sanitary / purge welds for the specific application.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts and articulating boom lifts.
• Use rigging tools such as jacks, chain falls, dollies and straps.
• Operate a variety of grinders & saws to prepare, clean and finish welds.
• Assemble components using a variety of powered and hand tools.
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
