St. Luke’s Health System in Idaho seeks a SANE Nursing Supervisor to lead a 10–12 RN team providing 24/7/365 on-call coverage for sexual assault and domestic violence patients. The role focuses on clinical leadership, education, quality improvement, and community collaboration, with primary work at the Ada County Victim Services Center in Boise and support at multiple St.

Luke’s sites. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Nursing, 3 years of relevant nursing experience, current RN

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Nursing Degree.
• Experience: 3 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure in the state and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a specialized SANE RN team through onboarding, training, ongoing education, and competency development.
• Coordinate 24/7/365 on-call coverage and manage the team schedule, including personal rotation.
• Provide forensic nursing care through sexual assault and domestic violence examinations.
• Work primarily from the Ada County Victim Services Center in Boise, and support care at multiple locations.
• Build strong partnerships within the health system and with government/community partners.
• Lead quality improvement and assurance activities to uphold patient care standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate quarterly SANE Peer Review meetings and identify education opportunities for staff and partners.
• Monitor program data and statistics and prepare reports for evaluation and improvement.
• Represent the program in the community through outreach and prevention activities; participate in legal proceedings when needed.
