Job summary

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe in Utah is seeking a Sandwich Maker to join a lively team. You will help prepare sandwiches and other items using scratch-made bread and fresh ingredients, in a fast-paced environment that values accuracy and efficiency.

Shifts start as early as 7am and can extend to late evenings, Monday through Saturday. A positive attitude, willingness to multitask, and adherence to food-safety standards are essential for success and growth within Kneaders’ bakery and cafe network.

Qualifications

• 1+ years kitchen/work experience (preferred).
• Compliance with local, state, & federal food handler & sanitation standards.
• Flexible schedule; shifts start as early as 7am & end as late as 11pm, Mon-Sat.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meal items quickly and accurately per specification.
• Work within a dynamic team to deliver Kneaders' menu from scratch-baked bread, pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout shifts.

In the role of Sandwich Maker, you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic team who offer a unique menu selection from scratch baked bread & pastries to incredible soups, salads, & sandwiches all made with honest, whole ingredients.

A successful Sandwich Maker at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe must possess:

• A "can do" attitude- the ability to work quickly & confidently to prepare meal items accurately per specification
• Understand how to multitask- learn from mistakes, & look for opportunities to step in & help other departments even before being asked

A successful Sandwich Maker at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe need to be qualified with:

• 1+ years kitchen/work experience (this is preferred but not required)
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards
• Flexible schedule standards -- Sandwich Maker shifts vary from week to week depending on customer traffic & time of year. Shifts start as early as 7am & end as late as 11pm Monday - Saturday.
• Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation is required
