Job summary

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking a Seasonal Sandwich Maker to join our busy kitchen team in Las Vegas. Work includes from-scratch bread, sandwiches, soups and salads, with strict food-safety standards and a can-do attitude.

Shifts vary by week, can start as early as 7am and end by 11pm, Monday through Saturday. We are closed Sundays and on Thanksgiving/Christmas; health benefits for full-time staff, pet insurance, and growth opportunities are available as part of our seasonal program.

Qualifications

• 1+ years kitchen/work experience preferred; training available.
• Adherence to local, state, and federal food safety standards.
• Flexible schedule; shifts vary by week and season.

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a Seasonal Sandwich Maker! In the role of Sandwich Maker, you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic team who offer a unique menu selection from scratch baked bread & pastries to incredible soups, salads, & sandwiches all made with honest, whole ingredients.

A successful Sandwich Maker at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe must possess:

• A "can do" attitude- the ability to work quickly & confidently to prepare meal items accurately per specification
• Understand how to multitask- learn from mistakes, & look for opportunities to step in & help other departments even before being asked

A successful Sandwich Maker at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe need to be qualified with:

• 1+ years kitchen/work experience (this is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right person)
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards
• Flexible schedule standards -- Sandwich Maker shifts vary from week to week depending on customer traffic & time of year. Shifts start as early as 7am & end as late as 11pm Monday - Saturday.
