Job summary

Weinberger's Deli in Grapevine, TX is urgently hiring a Sandwich Maker to craft hundreds of sandwich varieties and deliver memorable guest experiences. You will greet guests, assemble sandwiches quickly, handle the register, and maintain food safety standards in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Previous culinary or food-service experience is preferred. This on-site role offers the opportunity to earn tips on top of hourly pay and to grow your skills in a landmark deli with a loyal following.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary experience or similar food-service roles are required.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and walk throughout the workday, and lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with their sandwich choices.
• Prepare sandwiches neatly and quickly, following recipes and presentation standards.
• Use the Point of Sale system to accurately record orders, handle payments, and provide change.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards throughout your shift.
• Restock sandwich unit items to ensure a steady supply during busy periods.
• Perform light paperwork and cash-in procedures as needed.
