What You’ll Make

Brookhaven Market is hiring a Full-Time Sandwich/Salad Maker (onsite in Burr Ridge, IL) to keep our deli line moving and our guests happily fed. This role exists to turn great ingredients into consistently great sandwiches and salads—fast, accurate, and made with care.

• Building sandwiches to order with speed, consistency, and attention to detail
• Prepping and stocking ingredients so the line stays ready for rushes
• Keeping the prep/service area clean, organized, and food-safety focused
• Delivering friendly, upbeat customer service, even when it’s busy

What you’ll need

• 18+ (required to use the deli slicer)
• Fast casual/QSR experience (sandwich shop experience is a big plus)
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work a fast-moving kitchen shift; stand/walk throughout and lift up to 25 lbs
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed

Daily Line Rhythm

You clock in, apron on, and do a quick “station check”—bread stacked, proteins chilled, toppings crisp, sauces lined up. The ticket printer starts singing, and you settle into that familiar sandwich-shop flow: build, wrap, handoff, repeat. In the gaps, you top off bins, swap out pans, and keep your space spotless so you’re always rush-ready. You’ll chat with guests, handle the wild custom orders, and leave the next shift a clean, stocked setup.
