Role Overview

A Sandwich Artist serves and adds value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. This position promotes SUBWAY brand awareness and ensures hygiene standards are met.

Key Accountabilities

1. Store Merchandising: Receive deliveries, check stock, perform daily bread counts, and food preparation including baking bread and cookies.
2. Food Safety: Comply with Food Code of Practice, ensure proper food storage and hygiene, carry out temperature checks, and complete cleaning schedules.
3. Security & Loss Prevention: Prevent theft and damage, follow security procedures, and secure cash and stock.
4. Cashier Operations: Count end-of-shift monies and deposit in safe.
5. Occupational Health & Safety: Follow safety procedures to prevent injuries and provide a safe environment.
6. Personal Qualities: Maintain high presentation standards, work as a team, and complete training as directed.
7. Key Challenges: Serve customers efficiently and friendly, uphold health and safety standards, and complete routines timely.
