Role Overview

A Sandwich Artist serves and adds value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. This position promotes SUBWAY brand awareness and ensures hygiene standards are met.

Key Accountabilities

1. Store Merchandising

• Receive deliveries and check in stock
• Daily bread counts
• Food preparation including bread and cookie baking

Food Safety

• Comply with Food Code of Practice
• Ensure food is prepared and stored according to Health & Safety standards
• Carry out temperature checks and record as per company process
• Complete cleaning schedules as per chart

Security & Loss Prevention

• Prevent theft and damage to stock and store
• Follow security procedures
• Secure cash and stock from loss or theft

Cashier Operations

• Count end-of-shift monies and deposit in safe

Occupational Health & Safety

• Follow safety procedures to prevent injury
• Ensure a safe environment for employees and customers

Personal Qualities

• Maintain high personal presentation in uniform
• Work as part of a team
• Complete training as directed by the Manager

Key Challenges

• Serve customers efficiently and friendly
• Maintain presentation and work standards
• Complete routines efficiently and timely
