Job summary

Subway in Lexington is hiring team members to deliver an excellent Guest experience, prepare and serve fresh food, and keep the restaurant clean. You’ll work with a team to recommend meals and fulfill orders from start to finish, while upholding food safety standards and a positive guest environment.

No prior experience is required, and training will be provided. Various full-time and part-time shifts are available, with compensation to be discussed at the location.

Qualifications

• Some high school or equivalent is required.
• No previous experience required.
• Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.
• Ability to lift 10–30 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist Guests with meal options and fulfill orders from start to finish.
• Uphold food safety standards while preparing and serving fresh food daily.
• Work with teammates to keep all areas clean and maintain a pleasant atmosphere.

• Working with our Guests to knowledgeably recommend meal options and fulfill their orders from start to finish

• Working with your teammates to keep all areas of the restaurant clean while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for our Guests

PREREQUISITES

Education:

Some high school or equivalent

Experience:

No previous experience required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Physical:

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
