Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a friendly Sandwich Artist to greet guests, prepare product, and ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met. You will operate the Point of Sale system, record orders, and collect payments while delivering exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities include preparing food according to Subway formulas, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean, professional appearance. Flexible hours, physical demands, and safety procedures are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks (lift up to 50 lbs).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• At least 16 years old; minors may use OSHA approved knives.

Our Sandwich Artist will be responsible for greeting and serving guests, preparing product, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and processing light paperwork. Exceptional guest service is a major component of this position.

Your Role, Your Impact

• Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to guests accurately.
• Uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and compute the amount of the bill.
• Collects payment from guests and makes change. Performs Cash‑In Procedure—accounting for all forms of money, bread, etc., during the shift.
• Prepares food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner.
• Checks products in sandwich unit area and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
• Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up. Cleans and maintains all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image.
• Performs light paperwork duties as assigned.
• Understands and adheres to the Wash, Rinse, and Sanitize method of cleaning. Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the Subway Operations Manual: Daily Procedures.
• Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the Subway Operations Manual: Daily Procedures.
• Completes University of Subway courses as directed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations.
• Follow food safety best practices.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, weekends and or holidays.
• Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors repetitively throughout a shift: standing, walking, handling, reaching horizontally, grasping firmly, reaching above the shoulder, reaching below the waist, pushing buttons, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.

Pay Range

$15.00 - $18.00
