Job summary

Wilsonart International is seeking a production associate to feed laminate through sanders, position and cut materials, and maintain quality during the sanding process. You will operate lifts, track waste, and follow safety rules on a day shift at our Temple, TX facility.

The role emphasizes accuracy, ability to read tape measures and micrometers, and teamwork with a background in high school or GED. Training and protective gear are provided; a strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use a micrometer.
• Careful with safety standards and PPE usage.
• Able to lift heavy material (>50 lbs) and work in a loud environment.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve pressed laminate from the breakdown holding area.
• Operate table lift to position material for sanding.
• Activate feed line, edge routing and end cut.
• Insert laminate into the sander and cut to size.
• Lay off exiting laminate sheets to the lay off table.
• Perform visual quality checks and inspect against specs.
• Ensure proper PPE and safety procedures at all times.
