Job summary

LECO in St. Joseph, Michigan, seeks a hands-on Production Operator to perform fill/sand of castings and related sanding under supervision. You will cross-train for other duties, ensure parts meet blueprint specifications, and maintain quality and productivity.

Responsibilities include moving parts with a forklift, verifying revisions, recording daily output, and following safety procedures while using sanding equipment. Full-time, day shift.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications.
• Operate sanding equipment and hand tools safely.
• Forklift operation and LECO forklift license required/obtained.
• Right-To-Know Training completed.

Responsibilities

• Pick up LECO parts from Raw Parts holding area and move to workstation
• Ensure Router Sheet revision matches blueprint revision
• Do not process parts if revisions do not match
• Produce and maintain quality parts to blueprint specifications
• Maintain acceptable level of productivity
• Record daily parts ran on Form R8.5.1.4 Ref. this manual
• Use sanding equipment safely and wear protective gloves
• Handle material with Forklift Truck for movement
