Job summary

AHF Products in Beverly, WV is seeking a Sander Operator to sand flooring to specification and maintain the sander for quality finishes. Reports to Finish Line Production Supervisor and ensures efficient operation.

Responsibilities include performing PMs, maintaining housekeeping and 5S, recording production data, and communicating with teammates. Must have good attendance, safety-conscious, and able to work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Must have a good attendance record.
• Completion of maintenance of the Sander as well as scheduling additional maintenance as required
• Ensure al counters are functioning properly.
• Verify flooring specifications and document data.
• Keep lineal, quality and downtime sheets completed every hour
• Change sanding paper as needed.
• Maintain Housekeeping and 5S of Finish Line area
• Must be able to complete daily production numbers and run footage requirements.
• Ability to use a set of Calipers and Mics
• Ability to operate and maintain or be willing to learn to operate and maintain multiple pieces of equipment
• Practice safe work habits.
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers
• Must have a good attendance record
• Ability to work different shifts

Sander Operator

Shift: 6:45a – 5:15p M - T

AHF Products has a job opportunity for a Sander Operator to be in Beverly, WV. Reporting to the Finish Line Production Supervisor, the Sander Operator will play a crucial role by sanding all flooring properly within specifications and so a quality finish can be applied. Additionally, the Sander Operator will be responsible for all maintenance of the sander and the efficiency with which it performs.
