Job summary

AHF Products is seeking a General Laborer for our Sawmill in Norton, WV. The role reports to the Mill Supervisor and focuses on keeping lumber flowing through the mill, with responsibilities spanning physical handling, cutting, packing, and maintenance.

Qualified candidates should demonstrate the ability to lift heavy objects, pass a background check and drug screening, and have prior sawmill experience. AHF offers a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401K plan.

Job Duties

Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

• Physically handle lumber by pulling from chain and placing in appropriate pack.
• Use crosscut saw to cut off bad ends.
• Band finished packs.
• Responsible for completing clean-up and ground maintenance of assigned areas.
• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment.
• Perform any other work-related task deemed necessary by the mill management.
