Job summary

Rheinmetall in Michigan seeks a Sandblaster/Manufacturing Associate to prepare parts, sandblast surfaces, and assist with assembly in a production setting. You will mask, clean, hang parts, and perform touch ups while maintaining safety and 5S housekeeping.

The role requires the ability to work independently and in a team, adhere to AS9100/ISO 14001 quality standards, and follow PPE and safety procedures to support continuous improvement in a dynamic shop environment.

Essential Functions:

• Preparing parts for paint, masking, cleaning, and hanging on rack.
• Finishing operations and packaging, paint touch up, part marking, etc.
• Must have some experience with Sandblasting outside.
• Removes burrs or excess metal from machined parts.
• Support manual assembly operations.
• Assigned to various 5S activities as required.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
• Maintain high level of housekeeping in the work area, including 5S.
• Adherence to all company policies, procedures, external regulations and legal requirements.
• Other duties as directed by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in an AS9100 or ISO 14001 certified environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard documentation or reporting tools.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and process efficiency.
