Job summary

Rheinmetall in Michigan seeks a Sandblaster/Manufacturing Associate to prepare parts, sandblast surfaces, and assist with assembly in a production setting. You will mask, clean, hang parts, and perform touch ups while maintaining safety and 5S housekeeping.

The role requires the ability to work independently and in a team, adhere to AS9100/ISO 14001 quality standards, and follow PPE and safety procedures to support continuous improvement in a dynamic shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for paint, mask, clean, and hang on rack.
• Perform finishing operations and packaging, paint touch up, part marking.
• Must have some experience with sandblasting outside.
• Remove burrs or excess metal from machined parts.
• Support manual assembly operations.
• Participate in 5S activities as required.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
• Maintain high level of housekeeping, including 5S.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, external regulations and legal requirements.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
