Job summary

Atlas Gunworks in Shelburne, VT is seeking a dedicated Sand Blaster to keep our production line flowing. You’ll operate tumbling equipment and perform sand blasting to deliver parts ready for coating, with attention to every millimeter.

Experience isn’t required but a strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity help. The role is full-time, non-exempt, offering growth opportunities as you develop your gunsmithing craft in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

As the primary Sand Blaster, you’ll ensure all teams have the resources they need to be successful at Atlas Gunworks. Your responsibilities will include:

• Tumbling: Operating tumbling equipment using various methods and formulas.
• Sand Blasting: Blasting parts to ensure a clean finish to proceed to coating.
• Parts Prep: Pre-blend various small parts for the sanding team, as well as blend core parts for a flush even finish.
