Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a Sand Bar Bartender for our SpringHill Suites Jacksonville Beach Oceanfront location. The role involves taking orders, preparing and serving beverages and light meals to guests, and maintaining outlet cleanliness and stock.

Flexibility with schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required. Prior F&B experience, ServSafe, and bilingual English/Spanish are advantageous in serving a diverse guest base at a premier oceanfront hotel.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant or F&B experience.
• Must meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Ability to read safety and operating instructions.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and staff.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
• ServSafe or food safety training a plus.
• Alcohol awareness training (e.g., TIPS) a plus.
• Familiarity with food and beverage cost controls.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions for guests.
