Job summary

Mass Audubon is seeking a dedicated Property Manager for Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary. The role involves cleaning, maintenance, trail work, and ensuring safe, welcoming spaces for visitors and volunteers.

You will collaborate with regional colleagues on various projects essential to our mission and environmental stewardship. The position emphasizes outdoor work in diverse conditions, teamwork, and adherence to Mass Audubon's diversity and inclusion commitments.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform physical work outdoors in varied weather.
• Capable of hiking rough terrain and lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Strong communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Perform property maintenance, custodial tasks, and trail upkeep.
• Develop weekly to annual maintenance work plans with supervisor.
• Address issues on wildlife sanctuaries as they arise.
• Maintain equipment and assist with vehicle maintenance.
• Supervise seasonal property staff and volunteers when needed.
• Coordinate special projects and events.
