Job summary

ERP International, LLC is seeking a full-time Perioperative Registered Nurse to support the Operating Room at Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA. You will coordinate patient care with a broad healthcare team and ensure adherence to care standards in a military medical facility.

The role requires 2+ years perioperative nursing experience, valid US RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS. Excellent compensation with comprehensive benefits is offered, along with opportunities for CME and license

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Graduate Diploma/Associate Degree in Nursing from ACEN/CCNE-accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years perioperative RN experience within last 3 years; circulator experience preferred.
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.
• Active RN license in the United States; ability to obtain clearance.
• Ability to pass Government background check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care with healthcare professionals to achieve quality and cost-effective outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with care standards per policies and guidelines in the MTF.
• Perform nursing assessments and patient histories; provide education and counseling.
• Administer medications and wound care; support intraoperative care.
• Direct the room team to ensure optimal patient care and resource use.
• Verify surgical sites and procedures with patient and records; document responses.
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterilization standards; assist with equipment issues.
• Collaborate with OR staff and anesthesia to manage changes in patient condition.
• Support research to improve practice and patient outcomes.
