Job summary

Webcor Construction, LP is seeking a Project Director to lead projects in San Diego from preconstruction to close-out. The ideal candidate will have a strong local network and extensive experience in the construction sector.

Responsibilities include overseeing project lifecycle, managing profits and losses, and ensuring timely project delivery. A Bachelor’s degree and typically 15 years of diversified construction experience are required. A strong focus on safety and team management is essential.

Qualifications

• Typically, 15 years of diversified construction experience.
• Five years in field management on multiple projects as a Sr. Project Manager or Sr. Superintendent.
• Strong knowledge and professional network in the San Diego area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from preconstruction to close–out.
• Serve as company interface between Owner, Architect, Contractor.
• Manage profits/losses and deliver projects on time and budget.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities.
• Lead pursuits and develop proposal strategies.

Skills

Proven knowledge of project lifecycle

Broad knowledge of cost control

Extensive knowledge of contract types

Advanced knowledge of estimating

Ability to manage risk

Familiar with insurance and rates

Ability to manage resources

Working knowledge of MEPS

Ability to lead Precon efforts

Strategic communication skills

Ability to build strong relationships

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
