Job summary

Techmer PM, LLC in Dalton, GA is hiring a Machine Operator for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM). The position pays $20.00 per hour and up depending on experience, on-site with full-time benefits.

Operate extrusion and mixing equipment to produce plastic compounds for various customer applications, following SOPs and ensuring safe operation and quality control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Two years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Extrusion experience highly desired.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs frequently.
• Ability to learn plant equipment functionality.

We are currently seeking a Machine Operator for our Dalton, Georgia facility. This position will be on the 1st Shift - Monday-Friday (7:00 AM-3:30 AM). Pay rate is $20.00 per hour and up depending on experience.

Job Purpose:

Operate all key manufacturing equipment to produce plastic compounds for unique and specialty customer applications. Works safely to protect themselves, their coworkers, and the facility by following all standard operating procedures. Engaged in process measurement, control, and improvement in all aspects of their assigned tasks. Learns and understands key operating parameters which ensure that only in specification and high-quality product is delivered to our customers.

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Two years of manufacturing experience is preferred.

• Ability to learn the functionality of plant equipment.

Skills/Knowledge/Ability:

• Basic knowledge of running an extruder or mixing equipment.
• Ability to learn pre and postproduction equipment and operations (drying, bagging, grinding etc.)
• General mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot problems
