About the Position
The Sample Room and On-Site Events Manager will be responsible for making the Sample Room and Event experience nothing short of exceptional. This dynamic position will supervise all areas of the Jersey Girl Brewing Company Sample Room as well as working on marketing, events, and managing Sample Room staff. This is a strategic planning position that requires ongoing input and dialog with the President. The Manager will work on the upkeep of the Sample Room, tend the bar in our Sample Room, and make retail sales during Sample Room hours. Success in this position will be founded in planning and execution. Attention to the customer experience at Jersey Girl Brewing is critical. Patrons should be educated on craft beer, our brewing process, the unique location, and growth of our brand. The candidate must be a self-motivated individual, who executes on a high level and is capable of collaborating and successfully multi-tasking.
The Sample Room Manager will also supervise staff working in the Sample Room, manage and coordinate inventory, execute a variety of events throughout the year, and assist in the planning and budgeting for the Sample Room. Tasks include but are not limited to, ordering/rotating inventory correctly and on completing a thorough month end inventory.
The ideal candidate loves craft beer (brewery experience is a bonus), is extremely organized and detail oriented, and is responsible as well as hard working. The position will cover the hours when the Sample Room is open and expanded Sample Room hours of operation.
We are seeking a motivated individual who can be a leader and thrive in an exciting and challenging environment. Passion for, and knowledge of, craft beer is obviously important, but the ideal candidate will also possess a proven track record of exceptional customer service, strong managerial and event planning skills, and proficiency on multiple social media platforms.
