Job summary

Emberside Brewery, part of Table & Banter Hospitality, is seeking a Taproom Manager to lead the launch and operation of a premier taproom in New Jersey. You will recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team, uphold exceptional hospitality, and drive financial and beverage performance from day one.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on leadership, deep beer knowledge, and a proven track record in high-volume settings, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and events.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in restaurant/bar/taproom operations with supervisory responsibilities.
• Proven track record leading hospitality teams and delivering great guest experiences.
• Strong knowledge of craft beer, beer styles, and service standards.
• Experience recruiting, training, coaching, and developing teams.
• Strong financial/operational acumen including labor, inventory, and costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead opening of Emberside Brewery taproom with pre-opening readiness and training.
• Oversee daily taproom operations, staffing, and service quality.
• Develop a high-performing team with coaching and clear expectations.
• Manage sales, labor, beverage costs, inventory, and expenses.
• Coordinate with brewery leadership on beer availability and events.
• Maintain beer quality, draft service, and equipment cleanliness.
• Establish SOPs, scheduling, purchasing, and cash handling procedures.
• Drive guest engagement through events and community programming.
