Job summary

Catalent's Greenville, North Carolina site seeks a Sample Management Technician to support handling, storage, and documentation of samples and reference standards in compliance with regulatory procedures. You will help maintain records, ensure proper labeling and storage conditions, and assist with controlled substance processes on a 100% onsite schedule in Greenville, NC.

The role emphasizes maintaining chain of custody, inventory management, and accurate notebooks, with use of software tools

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a relevant STEM field or related experience.
• High school diploma with at least one year of applicable experience.
• Ability to follow cGMP and EH&S guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow all regulatory guidelines, cGMP, and EH&S regulations.
• Store samples under appropriate conditions per procedures.
• Maintain chain of custody for samples and reference standards.
• Handle reference standards for all clients at Catalent.
• Support DEA processes for controlled substances including keyholder duties.
• Maintain accurate notebooks and logbooks.
• Assist with inventory management of reference standards.
• Ensure satellite locations are well maintained.
• Assist with sample destruction and stock reconciliation when needed.
• Use software tools to support duties and inventory.
• Conduct biannual/annual physical inventory of stored materials.
