Job summary

MERIEUX NUTRISCIENCES in Salt Lake City seeks a Sample Receiving Technician to log in samples, assign test codes, and ensure proper documentation for analysis. You will maintain sample integrity and prepare shipments for shipping vendors or other facilities.

The role requires a degree (Associate or Bachelor) with 1+ year relevant experience, plus basic computer and LIMS data-entry skills and strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and 1+ year relevant work experience or a Bachelor's degree.
• Basic computer operation and data entry into LIMS, with accuracy.
• Written and oral communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log in samples, assign IDs, and enter data into LIMS.
• Contact clients to clarify missing information for accuracy.
• Store samples safely and maintain sample integrity until analysis.
• Prepare shipments for pick up by vendors and for other facilities.
• Support reporting and quality improvement processes across the lab.
