Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing Northeast– North Kingstown, RI seeks a Laboratory Technician (Sample Receiving) for a full-time role. Compensation is USD 18-20 hourly, with benefits.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 12:00 pm–8:30 pm, with overtime as needed; 1–2 weeks training on 9:00 am–5:30 pm first shift. Your duties include handling samples per SOPs, receiving and documenting samples, storage and disposal, packing and shipping via FedEx, and assisting chemists and other techs.

Qualifications

• Environmental Science background preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced and deadline oriented environment.
• Exceptional multi-tasking ability with strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift 25+ pounds.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Handle samples per SOPs and dispose of as required.
• Perform sample receiving duties including documentation and storage.
• Ship samples via FedEx and prepare client bottle orders.
• Assist chemists and other technicians as needed.
• Use the LIMS to track containers and ensure proper timing with courier arrivals.
