Skyline Assayers & Laboratories in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Sample Prep Technician to receive core, rock, or soil samples and prepare them by splitting, crushing, and pulverizing to produce a powder-size sample. The role involves standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs in a lab environment.

The position is on the 2nd shift, Mon-Fri, 1:30 pm–10:00 pm, with voluntary OT on Saturdays. No experience is required as on-the-job training is provided, and the company offers a full benefits

Responsibilities

• This position receives core, rock, or soil samples and prepares them by splitting, crushing, and pulverizing to create a powder-size sample.
• Prolonged standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs are required.
• Work indoors/outdoors with respirator and PPE provided; background check and drug screening may be required.
