Job summary

Advanced Group in Redwood City is seeking a Research Associate I to support sample management operations in a fast-paced lab. You will handle receipt, storage, tracking, distribution, and quality control of biological and chemical samples while ensuring data integrity and compliance with SOPs.

Responsibilities include operating storage systems, laboratory databases and LIMS, performing routine quality checks, maintaining accurate records, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with teams

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong commitment to data integrity, organization, and SOP compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, track, distribute, and dispose samples per SOPs.
• Operate and maintain storage systems, laboratory databases, and LIMS.
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure sample integrity and data accuracy.
• Document records and support process improvements.
