Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing in Madison, WI is seeking a detail-oriented Sample Entry technician to support department operations in Sample Entry, Prep, and lab workflows.

You will move samples between areas, ensure accurate barcode scans, and help maintain GMP/GLP compliance while providing reliable support to the lab team. This is a full-time on-site role with opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to walk/stand the majority of the day.
• Ability to identify and communicate customer service needs.
• Strong communicator.
• Ability to learn new tasks.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and promote the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate.
• Move samples between Sample Prep, Lab and Microbiology.
• Monitor sample location bins in various lab areas.
• Proactively communicates any issues about sample movements to the supervisor.
• Ensures every barcode is scanned and the sample has the correct location assigned.
• Occasionally work in sample disposal area.
• Communicates discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
