Job summary

Wayne Tile in Northern New Jersey is seeking a hands-on Sample Department Coordinator to lead a two-person team responsible for sample preparation, inventory, labeling, and fulfillment across Wayne Tile, Maline, Tilefy, and Material Bank. This is a hybrid office/warehouse role located on-site in Northern New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment, inventory management, or department coordination.
• Experience supervising or training employees is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and email.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable performing physical warehouse work with tile products and packages.
• Experience with inventory management, labeling, and shipping systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and manage two sample department employees.
• Organize daily workloads and establish clear priorities.
• Monitor outstanding sample orders and eliminate fulfillment backlogs.
• Improve employee productivity, accuracy, and accountability.
• Develop and implement more efficient departmental procedures.
