Job description

Our Customer is an American worldwise clothing and accessories retailer, founded in 1969. Over the last 50 years, the company has grown from a single store to a global fashion business with seven brands. Their clothes are availabile in 90 countries worldwide through over 3,100 company-operated stores, almost 400 franchise stores, and e-commerce sites and is still growing.

We are seeking a Sample Coordinator on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is on-site in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and organize seasonal product samples for use by creative studio and visual merchandising teams.
  • Track sample arrivals, maintain accurate inventory records, and communicate delays or issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Assemble and maintain sample racks and storage areas to ensure organization and accessibility.
  • Support studio set preparation and maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with seasonal projects and coordinate product sample donations with visual merchandising teams.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks to support deadlines and team objectives.
  • Support studio photography activities and assist with photographing studio samples and setups.
  • Maintain accurate data tracking and organizational systems related to samples and studio operations.
Skills And Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail, studio operations, or sample management preferred.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Detail‑oriented mindset with strong accountability for data accuracy and operational tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and email platforms.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and operational processes.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt within fast‑paced environments.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to support collaborative studio and merchandising workflows.
