Job summary

Bed Bath & Beyond Careers is seeking an organized team member to manage inbound freight, organize samples in bought and unbought areas, and support Buyers with tagging and sample requests. The role also covers coordinating shipments, maintaining display areas, and assisting with charitable contributions and sample sales.

This position emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and adherence to company standards while contributing to a tech-driven retail environment near Salt Lake City and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Receiving all inbound freight.
• Organizing inbound samples in either the bought or unbought product areas.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bought and unbought areas on a daily basis.
• Help Buyers maintain correct tagging on all products in bought/ unbought areas.
• Partnering with the Buying team to request needed samples from the DC or vendors.
• Pick-up samples at other locations when requested.
• Maintaining display "staging" area for unbought collections.
• Assist in locating and/or packing products as needed for transfers to other Buying offices.
• Coordinate truck shipments to other Buying offices as needed.
• Purging unneeded samples in a timely manner.
• Assist in coordinating charitable contributions.
• Assist in executing office sample sales.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
