Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking a Sample Control Technician I in Anchorage, AK. You will log and track samples, prepare bottle kits, and ensure accurate documentation for testing procedures. The role includes possible courier duties and on-call requirements to support the laboratory and client needs.

The position is full-time, with a typical 8 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule and overtime as needed. A DOT certificate/driver’s license and TSA/TWIC clearances may be required within 90 days of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• DOT certification and a valid driver’s license may be required within 90 days of hire.
• TWIC and TSA clearance may be required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to pass motor vehicle background checks for company driving duties.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and verify incoming samples against Chain of Custody (COC).
• Log samples in Lab Management System and assign lot numbers daily.
• Label and deliver samples to appropriate labs for analysis each day.
• Prepare bottle kits for shipping to clients and ensure proper documentation.
• Dispose of spent samples and hazardous materials per SOPs and regulations.
• Monitor freezer/cooler temperatures and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• May perform courier duties and drive as needed to support operations.
