Job summary

HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pre-Op / Phase II Recovery / Same Day Surgical Services team. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care in a surgical environment and support a collaborative, patient-centered culture.

Responsibilities include assessing and planning care for Pre-Op and Phase II patients, instructing patients and families on medications and instructions, maintaining records, and administering medications per

Qualifications

• Florida Registered Nurse licensure or Compact licensure with active FL RN required within 60 days of hire
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS required after 6 months of hire/transfer
• Demonstrated critical thinking, service excellence and strong interpersonal communication
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and electronic health records

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Pre-Op and Phase II Recovery patients
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
• Maintain and review patients’ records including tests and examination results
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
