HCA Florida West Tampa Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Pre-Op / Phase II Recovery / Same Day Surgical Services team. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care in a surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Florida Registered Nurse license required or active compact license within 60 days.
• Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Pre-Op and Phase II Recovery patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
