EisnerAmper is seeking a Partner for the State & Local Tax group in New York. The role focuses on multistate consulting, compliance, and leadership in residency issues, nexus studies, and tax planning for diverse clients across industries.

You will supervise staff, collaborate with clients, and contribute to thought leadership and technology initiatives while upholding our commitment to work/life balance and a merit-based culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field required.
• CPA, EA, or JD required or preferred.
• Extensive experience in state and local taxation, including multistate issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead multistate consulting and compliance projects for partnership and corporate state and local tax returns.
• Address residency issues and state taxability studies.
• Provide state tax planning, research and advisory services for clients.
• Defend tax positions and participate in audit defense when needed.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff and collaborate with in-house tax professionals.
