You will manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, delivering accurate results. The position emphasizes collaboration with tax and non-tax stakeholders, development of strategic responses, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or related analytical experience.
• J.D. or CPA designation.
• Experience defending tax positions in audits and appeals.

Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate and document State and Local tax issues from a controversy perspective.
• Prepare, manage and defend responses to complex information requests from tax authorities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders within Amazon Tax and non-Tax teams in connection with appeals.
• Develop and deliver presentations on tax matters to various stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external advisors.
• Implement and enhance organizational processes for continuous improvement.
