Responsibilities

• Leading state and local tax merger and acquisition workstreams for client transactions and restructurings.
• Analyzing transaction structures, nexus changes, and local tax impacts to inform planning and implementation.
• Reviewing multistate and local tax filings, provisions, and compliance positions tied to acquisition activity.
• Advising clients on tax legislation, local tax requirements, and transaction-driven reporting considerations.
• Developing project plans, budgets, and timelines for engagements across multiple workstreams.
• Coaching team members through technical research, file review, and issue resolution.
• Identifying exposure areas, refund opportunities, and process improvements through targeted tax reviews.
• Using digital tooling and tax technology to streamline analysis, documentation, and deliverables.
