You’ll build real-world experience through hands-on client work, training programs, and meaningful interactions with staff at all levels. The role may require travel and offers exposure to diverse tax issues and teams.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Academic success with GPA 3.0+ in accounting coursework.
• Pursuing an accounting degree and CPA/licensure goals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax consulting services for state and local taxes (income, franchise, sales and use, gross receipts, personal property).
• Prepare state and local income and franchise tax returns.
• Write internal and external tax alerts on developments and planning techniques.
• Research complex tax issues and deliver conclusions via memo or verbally.
• Develop interactions with staff at all levels and with clients.
• Deepen knowledge in state/local tax and other taxes, including federal tax.
• Participate in training programs to enhance tax knowledge.
