Salt City Trucking is hiring a CDL-A Local Live Haul Driver for a home-daily route on a dedicated live chicken account. Expect $80,000 average annual pay, weekly around $1,600, and a $5,000 bonus.You will pick up and deliver live chickens from local farms to the processing facility using flatbed trailers, with 15–20 stops per week and 3–4 inbound loads daily. Start times range 12 PM–4 PM, Monday through Friday, with 1–2 Saturdays per month optional.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to secure chicken cages.

Pay Details

• Safety training: $20/hour
• 1,024 miles/week

Job Details

• Pick up and deliver live chickens from local farms to the processing facility
• Flatbed trailer operation

• Farm driving includes grades, bumps, and ditches
• Drivers are responsible for proper load securement

Shift Details

• Monday-Friday

• Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day off

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
