The role emphasizes coaching, scheduling, and maintaining store standards, while monitoring expenses and ensuring compliance. You will establish rapport with customers and create a positive, team-based work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in retail or customer service environment.
• 1 year supervisory experience.
• Ability to influence others.
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods, 7+ hours/day.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, and orienting employees.
• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to staff; coaching and counseling.
• Drives operations by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on results.
• Controls expenses to achieve financial objectives (labor, cost of sales, etc.).
• Ensure store compliance with legal requirements and maintain store presentation and cleanliness.
• Establish rapport with customers to build loyalty and long-term relationships.
• Create a positive, motivating, team-based environment.
• Resolve customer concerns in a timely, professional manner.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profits.
