Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a stylist to engage with guests, consult on hair care needs and recommend products and services. You will deliver quality services while supporting the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager through focus on performance, people and process.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license is required.
• Previous salon experience is preferred.
• Proficient in hair cutting, hairstyling, coloring, extensions, makeup and ear piercing.
• Strong customer service and ability to build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including design, cuts, color, texture, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions and makeup.
• Meet or exceed sales goals for hair services and contribute to store goals for retail and service sales.
• Demonstrate business acumen and identify opportunities for growth.
• Demonstrate product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Support in-store events, promotions and marketing initiatives for an unrivaled guest experience.
• Stay informed on industry trends and knowledge of ingredients/benefits to serve guests.
