Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Stylist who will engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend services and products to enhance the guest’s total look. The role supports the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager by focusing on performance, people, and process in a fast-paced salon environment.

Ideal candidates will have a cosmetology license and prior salon experience, with strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Previous relevant salon experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including hair design, haircuts, color, texture, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup.
• Meet or exceed sales goal of $800 average weekly sales and productivity goals for hair services.
• Demonstrate business acumen with understanding of business drivers and identified opportunities for growth.
• Perform product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and guest service experience.
• Support events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
• Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
