Zoom Tan is hiring a Salon Sales Associate in Sarasota, FL. You will greet clients, assess skin types, and recommend tanning equipment and lotions. The role emphasizes customer service, sales targets, and building lasting client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a base pay of $15.50 per hour plus uncapped commission and bonuses, with opportunities for growth within our vibrant team. This is a full-time, on-site role in a busy tanning salon setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in customer service or sales is highly preferred.
• Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, bend and be on your feet for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and provide a warm, welcoming experience.
• Assess clients' skin types and advise on suitable tanning equipment and lotions; explain process and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized tanning area and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Upsell tanning lotions and products based on client needs and preferences.
• Meet and exceed sales targets while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and record tanning history and preferences.
