Job summary

SmartStyle Hair Salon in Atlantic, IA is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Salon Manager in all aspects of daily operations. You will lead a team, coach staff, ensure exceptional guest service, and help grow the salon business through scheduling, promotions, and community outreach.

This role requires a valid cosmetology license (including a manager license where required) and 35–40 hours per week with flexible evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid current cosmetology license, including a manager license as required by local regulations.
• Ability to work a minimum of 35-40 hours per week on a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to provide exceptional guest service and consistently perform quality services.
• A team player with strong leadership qualities. Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace while demonstrating good judgment and time management skills.
• Communicate effectively with salon team, peers, supervisors and guests.
• Ability to read and analyze various salon reports.
