Sun Tan City in Sioux City, IA is seeking an Assistant Salon Director to drive store performance and deliver an exceptional client experience. The role oversees tanning consultants, maintains high-energy service, and ensures operational excellence to meet productivity goals.

Responsibilities include coaching, scheduling, inventory, and reporting, with nights/weekends required for coverage. College education preferred but not required; management and sales experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Management and/or Sales experience required.
• Strong leadership skills with coaching ability.
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
• Team building skills and delegation ability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and clean salon environment.
• Establish goals for Team Members and provide coaching/training.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with Salon Director duties.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling revenue and expenses.
• Maintain staffing levels to maximize productivity and ensure excellent service.
• Work nights and weekends as needed for coverage; close at 6pm Sat/Sun.
• Have reliable transportation; work five days per week, ~40–45 hours.
