Job summary

Smartstyle is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Salon Manager in overseeing all aspects of salon operations. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional guest service and drive business growth.

The role requires a cosmetology license with management credential, a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and the ability to manage schedules, payroll, and compliance. You will coach staff and ensure a professional salon environment.

Qualifications

• Valid current cosmetology license, including a manager license per local regulations.
• 35–40 hour work week with flexible schedule; nights/weekends; possible overtime.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and quality salon services.
• Strong leadership; able to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication with team, peers and guests.
• Ability to read and analyze salon reports.
• Basic reading, writing, math and computer skills.
