Job summary

SmartStyle Salons in the United States is seeking an Assistant Salon Leader to support the Salon Leader in daily operations and to drive guest satisfaction.

You will train and coach stylists, help grow the client base, and ensure profitability while delivering the full range of hair care services with the highest quality.

This role requires flexibility, a licensed cosmetologist/barber, and the ability to travel for meetings and training, with a strong focus on teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current cosmetology or barber license required by state regulations.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to travel to mandatory meetings and training.
• Tech-savvy with ability to perform administrative tasks.
• Strong reading, writing and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Heartbeat of the salon alongside the Salon Leader, supporting operations and providing leadership.
• Help the Salon Leader increase clientele and profitability, and train the team.
• Provide all hair care services offered by SmartStyle and ensure the highest quality for every guest.
• Coach and mentor staff to bring out the best and maintain a positive work environment.
• Support recruiting, hiring, training, and handling conflicts and client complaints with ease and professionalism.
