Job summary

SmartStyle Salons is looking for an Assistant Salon Manager to lead with style, kindness, and care, guiding the salon to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

You’ll manage day-to-day operations, coach staff, hire and train, and ensure profitability while maintaining the highest quality hair services for every guest.

Travel to mandatory meetings and training sessions may be required as part of a collaborative, positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state regulations.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Willing to travel for mandatory meetings and training sessions, including overnight stays.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Manage all operations and provide leadership and tools for success.
• Lead by example to grow clientele and the business; focus on profitability and coach staff.
• Provide all hair care services offered and ensure the highest quality for every guest.
• Coach and mentor staff to maintain a positive work environment.
